When do you call 911?

If you ever question whether you should call 911, err on the side of caution and make the call. Every single minute matters in an emergency.
 
A hospital emergency center can take care of life-threatening medical conditions that require immediate attention to prevent death or disability. Some examples of emergencies are:
  • Bleeding that does not stop
  • Heart attack (or chest pain)
  • Drug or other poisoning
  • Major burns
  • Loss of consciousness
