The Riverview Surgery Center is attached to the hospital, thus ensuring a patient's full range of health needs can be met at any time. The Center was designed to be convenient, efficient, and comfortable for patients and their friends and family.
Types of surgeries performed at Riverview Surgery Center include general, OB/GYN, orthopedics, cardiovascular, neurosurgical, urologic, ophthalmic, and plastic. Technology utilized at Riverview includes laser surgery and laparoscopic surgery.
The surgery center is comprised of 24 outpatient surgery suites, eight operating rooms and a post-anesthesia care unit (PACU) designed to meet the needs of surgical patients emerging from anesthesia. The PACU also features a private recovery area for children.
